My daughter loves trying new things and really enjoys it when she’s able to create something. She didn’t grow up with the most exposure to technology... [the Center] will broaden her perspective on what she can do in the world. This exposure could potentially spark an idea in her head to help her work towards solving a societal issue

I spent my childhood in Compton. I can’t imagine having this kind of tech access as a kid. We built this center to inspire our community’s youth to make an impact in the world, have successful tech careers and discover what opportunities are out there.

I just wanna say thank you to everyone at SoLa. You guys are literally life savers. Before I got to SoLa I was in the worst state I’ve been in...but when I was at the Tech Center  that all went away. I love SoLa and everyone at SoLa. You guys actually believed in me.
