SoLa Scholarships
With only 3 out of 10 students in South LA attending college every year, our mission is to improve the lives of underprivileged youth by giving them positive alternatives and leadership skills to stay in school, increase academic grades, prevent teenage pregnancy, gang involvement, incarceration and ultimately gain acceptance into college or vocational education. SoLa awards scholarships to high school seniors who demonstrate excellence in community service, academics, and social impact/service.
