A registered 501(c)3 non profit
The SoLa I CAN Foundation, a 501(c)3
nonprofit affiliate of SoLa Impact, is built on a
simple premise: "If you can see it, you can be it!"
We strive to inspire South Los Angeles youth and residents to see possibility and opportunity in
their lives, end inter-generational poverty and
housing insecurity. I CAN provides educational
programs, mentorship, job readiness and access
to experiences they would otherwise lack.
Our programs focus on the
"whole child" consisting of:
College Prep and Readiness
Business and Entrepreneurship
Help support the historically disadvantaged communities and youth of South LA.
SURGE: Technology & Entrepreneurship Center
Covid-19 and the current social unrest are laying bare enormous inequalities in our community. The SoLa I CAN Foundation is developing South LA’s first Technology and Entrepreneurship Center to train Black and brown youth in technology skills including coding, graphic design and robotics engineering to attain careers and start businesses in LA’s $92B technology industry, bringing new economic opportunities to South LA.
